It’s called “Losing” and will be released next Friday, May 25th. The single is the first one from Tenth Avenue North's new album, The Struggle, which won't be released until August.
Losing was inspired by a letter sent to a radio station from a woman who was struggling with forgiveness. The single sums up the idea that we lose more than we win when we choose not to forgive someone.
According to Billboard's National Christian Audience Chart, the number one Christian song of 2011 is Tenth Avenue North's hit "You Are More".
The song is from Tenth Avenue North's sophomore album "The Light Meets The Dark".
While "You Are More" is 2011's overall number one Christian song, the band's current single, "Strong Enough To Save", has also been climbing the charts.
The guys in the band helped write and direct the music video for "Deck The Halls". The single can be found on the "WOW! Christmas 2011" CD. You can watch the video at the band's website, Tenth Avenue North-dot-com.
The band is currently in the midst of their "Make Your Move" tour.
It runs at least through early December.
